PURPOSE:To reduce traffic accidents, by converting a running speed of an automobile and changes therein into colored light beams to be displayed externally. CONSTITUTION:A sensor block 6 is stuck inside a front glass of a speedometer of a running automobile while a sensor block 7 is stuck on the front of a speed display panel of a meter and a pointer of the meter is read with these sensors. A power source for an amplifier block 10 and a colored bulb block 11 is switched over between the ordinary road position and high speed road position with a changeover switch 3. Current read with a sensors is sent to the amplifier block 10 mounted in a automobile. Current from the amplifier block 10 lights one or two lamps within the colored bulb block 11 passing through the changeover switch 3. When the reading of the pointer of the meter appears in two sensors at a time, a plurality of bulbs come ON simultaneously to give a half tone color thereby indicating changes in the speed to an opponent automobile. Moreover, a glass 12 employs a frosted glass and diffuses light of the colored bulb block 11 evenly over the entire surface thereof to prevent misrecognition for other display lamp and a roof 13 is made broader than a floor board 15 for shielding sunshine.
