PURPOSE:To provide a skin cosmetic containing a thermally non-coagulable yolk, giving smooth feeling to the skin, having moisturizing effect, emollient effect and skin activating effect and imparting springiness and luster to the skin. CONSTITUTION:A thermally non-coagulable yolk is produced by selectively removing proteins participating in thermal coagulation from yolk of bird, e.g. chicken, quail, wild duck, turkey, etc., especially yolk of chicken's egg. For example, 1pt. of egg yolk is added with 3-5pts. of water (which may contain 3-25wt% ethyl alcohol) and is stirred to effect the selective coagulation of the above protein, the coagulum is separated from the mixture and the obtained yolk solution is optionally heat-treated at >=80 deg.C to obtain the thermally non- coagulable yolk. The product is preferably condensed or dried and compounded to a skin cosmetic to obtain the objective skin cosmetic having the above effects. The amount of the non-coagulable protein is preferably 0.001-20wt%, especially 0.1-10wt% based on the whole composition in terms of solid. |
