PURPOSE:To exactly manage the transmission of a picture signal by adding addition information for showing that the picture signal which has been transmitted immediately before corresponds to the picture signal of which ordinal number of page, to a multipage signal being a procedure signal which is transmitted immediately after its picture signal, whenever the picture signal of one page portion is transmitted. CONSTITUTION:In a first communication control device 1, a picture signal of one unit page portion is transmitted by a picture signal transmission device 2, and when the transmission of the picture signal is ended, the transmission end of the picture signal of one unit page portion is shown through a first procedure signal transmitting and receiving device 3. Subsequently, information for showing that the picture signal which has been transmitted immediately before corresponds to the picture signal of which ordinal number of page, which has been obtained from a second procedure signal information adding device 4 is added to a page signal for showing that the picture signal which is scheduled to be transmitted thereafter, and it is transmitted to a receiving station side facsimile device 6, as a transmission procedure signal from a transmitting station side facsimile device 5. A second communication control device 10 monitors whether a difference exists between its signal and the number of picture signal transmitting pages recognized by the transmitting station side or not, and manages a transmission of the picture signal.
