<p>PURPOSE:To improve the contact rate between waste water and living things and to prevent clogging and drift by providing a gas diffuser for blowing a metabolyzing gas to the inside of an upward current type reaction device which uses biological membrane sticking thereto and contains sticking carriers to the bottom of said reaction device. CONSTITUTION:The upward current type reaction device 1 which uses the biological membrane sticking thereto is packed with the sticking carriers 2 and is provided with a gas separating mechanism 3 in the upper part. A flow regulator 4 for introducing the waste water and the diffuser 5 for introducing the circulating gas are provided in the lower part of the carriers 2. The regulator 4 communicates with a circulation pump 6 and a waste water pump 7. The diffuser 5 communicates with a gas blower 9. The mechanism 3 is divided to a gas lift tube 11 and a gravity settling part 12 by a partition plate 10 and is formed with a gas reservoir 13. As a result, the contact between the waste water and the living things is improved by the stirring effect of the gas and the clogging and drift by the inflow of suspended matter are prevented.</p> |
