PURPOSE:To accurately grasp the propriety of the memory card loading state without changing the shape of a card by detecting the presence of the memory card misloading depending whether a specific pin is connected to a connector corresponding thereto while the memory card is set to an electronic equipment. CONSTITUTION:A pin 3 to detect the electric connection is arranged to the memory card 1 together with a conventional connector pin 2 and they are set to a ground potential. On the other hand, a receptacle 5 is arranged at a position corresponding to the pin 3 at the loading side 4 of the memory card 1 in case of the correct loading, and a line 6 connected to the receptacle 5 is connected to one input terminal of a control circuit 7 and connected also a positive power line 9 via a pull-up resistor 8. In loading the memory card 1 reversely, although the signal state of the line 11 is at '0' at loading, since the pin 3 and the connector 4 are not allowed to contact electrically, the signal state of the line 6 remains '1', a light emitting diode of a misloading detection display device 14 is lighted and the user finds out misloading. |
