PURPOSE:To omit the undesired transmission of data and to reduce the data communication cost by providing the space area detecting devices to plural electronic computers which perform transmission of data to always detect the space areas of the data memory devices, and controlling the transmission of data based on the space areas detected by said detecting devices and the quantity of data to be transmitted. CONSTITUTION:In a control system for transmission of data between electronic computers, the space area detecting devices 16 and 26 are provided to electronic computers 1 and 2 which perform transmission of data to always detect the space areas of data memory devices 13 and 23. Thus the devices 16 and 26 always detect said space areas to confirm the propriety for transmission of data and control the start of transmission of data. Therefore the space area of the data memory device can be confirmed at the reception side before transmission of data and at the same time the retransmission of data is not required for a data transmission control system.
