<p>PURPOSE:To realize a display having a high definition large picture by compact constitution, and to hold an image even after a power source is cut, by moving an opposed electrode, switching successively and electrically an optical image exposing position by synchronizing with the movement of this opposed electrode, making a toner adhere selectively onto a photosensitive body, and forming a visible image. CONSTITUTION:An exposure light source group 10 is constituted of light source trains 10-1-10-10 in accordance with a scanning line, and by synchronizing with a movement of a magnetic brush means 6, an optical image exposure is executed successively. That is to say, when light source elements on the light source trains 10-1-10-10 are made to emit a light beam successively in accordance with a picture signal, by synchronizing with a movement of the magnetic brush means 6, an electrostatic latent image corresponding to the picture signal is formed successively on a photosensitive body 4. Subsequently, when the surface of the photosensitive body 4 is separated from a toner 9 as the magnetic brush means 6 moves, the toner adheres to only a destaticized part and a visible image is formed. In such a way, the large-sized high definition display can be executed by using a small number of driving circuits with compact constitution in using a low voltage.</p> |
