PURPOSE:To recover efficiently the fermentation heat by installing heat conduction pipes at the circumferential wall of a fermentation tank which is cylindrical in shape. CONSTITUTION:To the circumferential wall 21 at the cylindrical inside of a heat accumulation tank 20 heat conduction pipes 22 are planted through short pipes 17 water-tightly. a heat conduction pipe 22 has a round cross section at its heat collectiong section 19 and its installation angle is in the range from 10 deg. to 35 deg. and the section 19 is inclined downwards. The heat conduction pipes 22 are arranged crisscross to the extent that they are submerged in a fermentation material. In the heat accumulation tank 20 water W is filled and the heat radiations section 36 of the heat conduction pipe contacts this water W. Because a raw material A for ferementation is stirred by a screw 10 and fresh air is forcibly sent into the fermentation tank from an air blow-off pipe 12, the fermentation becomes active. The fermentation heat is collected by heat conduction pipes 22 to warm the water W, and the heat is led out to the outside from a water transfer opening 27b to the outside of the heat accumulation water tank.
