PURPOSE:To arbitrarily form a clean zone at a desired height in a high ceiling room, by providing an air communicating passageway which connects a first air duct of a complex duct to a second air duct, and by furnishing the air communicating passageway with a fan and a HEPA filter. CONSTITUTION:A long and narrow box consists of a complex duct which is composed of a first are duct 1 on which longitudinal wall air intake openings 4 are provided in series, and a second air duct 2 on which longitudinal wall a plurality of air ejection nozzle 5 are provided in series. Both air ducts are combined each other back to back. An air communicating passage is provided between one end of the first air duct 1 of a complex duct and the other end of a second air duct 2, and a fan 8 and a HEPA filter 9 are inserted in the air communicating passageway. When the fan 8 is driven, air is sucked into the first air duct 1 from the air intake openings 4. It is purified by the HEPA filter 9 and is ejected from the air ejection nozzles 5 of a second air duct 2. Air can be sucked from an arbitrary height and can be ejected from an arbitrary position if the number of air intake openings 4 are the number of air ejection nozzles 5 are adjusted. When air is ejected from the nozzles 5, unidirectional swirl flow is formed in a room at the ejected height, and a clean zone is formed in this space in the room. |
