PURPOSE:To prevent a thrust load from acting on a power transmission shaft or the like so as to promote the simplification of a power transmission system, by arranging a thrust bearing, which receives the thrust load applied to each inner and outer rotary shaft of a double contrarotating shaft, in a stern side and interposing a power distributing device between the thrust bearing and a main engine. CONSTITUTION:A thrust load is respectively applied to an inner rotary shaft 10a and an outer rotary shaft 10b in a double contrarotating propeller device 6 comprising a front side propeller 8 and a rear side propeller 7, and a thrust bearing 13, which receives the thrust load, is arranged in a stern side. A power distributing device 11 is arranged interposing between a power transmission shaft 12 of a main engine 3 and the thrust bearing 13. The power distributing device 11 is supported to a ship bottom 21 through an elastic supporter 20. The thrust load is prevented from acting with only transmission of power from the main engine 3 to a power transmission system 9 of the power transmission shaft 12 and the power distributing device 11, and the power transmission system 9 enables its weight lightness, compactness and simplification to be promoted.
