The present invention relates to a method and a trolley for handling vehicles by towing. The trolley 2 according to this invention comprises an underslung frame or chassis 3 with lateral supports 4 able to receive the front wheel 5 of a vehicle (V), whilst a two-wheeled 6a axle 6 arranged above the underslung frame 3 and aligned with the supports 4 allows the trolley to be rolled along the ground.
