PURPOSE:To identify from whom an incoming call arrives before responding to a telephone, in case of connecting extensions mutually, by changing and sending the cycle of a call signal according to the accommodate position of a call extension. CONSTITUTION:At the time of dialing an extension 2 to be called by an ordinary procedure by a call extension 1, a central processing unit 4 reads out a call signal pattern corresponding to the extension from a table 5 classified by every call signal in which a call signal classification by every extension is stored, based on the bit of accommodate position information of the extension 1. And according to the information, an extension call signal is sent to the extension 2. A caller can be identified by the cycle of the call signal at the extension 2.
