PURPOSE:To enhance the transmission efficiency of data by transmitting the information of main and sub channel by means of the violation conversion of a frame bit and obtaining a data output, state information output and sub channel information from a received envelope signal. CONSTITUTION:On transmission side, a frame bit generated in a frame pattern generation circuit 1 and a data bit from the data input IN1 of main channel are inputted in an envelope assembly circuit 2 so as to compose an envelope signal. Meanwhile the state information input IN2 of the main channel and the information input IN3 of the sub channel are converted into a corresponding code in an encoding circuit 3, violation controlled 4 and the output of the envelope assemble circuit 2 is transmission code converted 5 so as to transmit a bipolar signal. On the other hand, on reception side a unipolar signal reception code converted 6 from a receiving signal is envelope synchronized 7 to be envelope decomposed 8 and the data of the main channel is outputted OUT1. Now the output of a reception code conversion circuit 6 is transmitted to a decoding circuit 9 and the information output OUT3 and the information output OUT2 of the sub channel are obtained.
