PURPOSE:To prevent generation of excessive differential pressure between electrodes by detecting the differential pressure between a fuel electrode and an oxidizing agent electrode of a fuel cell, and giving a correction signal to a flow rate controller of a fuel side recycling line to control the recycling flow rate. CONSTITUTION:A part of exhaust fuel is taken in a recysling line with a blower 17 through an absorber 23 installed in the outlet of a fuel electrode 8B of a fuel cell 8, and returned to the inlet of the fuel electrode 8B after controlling the flow rate by operating the opening of a flow rate control valve 19. The differential pressure between the fuel electrode 8B and an oxidizing agent electrode 8A is detected with a detector 30, and compared with a setting value with a comparator A to turn on and off a switch D. When the pressure on the oxidizing agent electrode 8A side is high, the switch D is turned on and a signal from a computing element B is added as a correction signal to control a flow rate control valve 19. Generation of excessive differential pressure between electrodes is prevented and recycling flow rate is controlled. Therefore, deterioration in cell performance is retarded. |
