<p>Handstamp with several selectable printing plates (2) which are applied to a rotatable polygonal cylinder (1), which, when turned, brings the desired printing plate (2) into the position of use; the stamp includes a display with indications of the content of the printing plate, said display being provided with a cylinder (3) carrying this information on its periphery, and being linked with the printing-plate carrying cylinder via a gear system (15, 16, 17). The information-carrying cylinder (3) of the display is arranged in the housing (5) of the stamp with the axle (35) running parallel to the axle (34) of the cylinder (1) carrying the printing plates under or above the latter. Preferably the cylinder (3) of the display together with the printing plate carrying cylinder (1) are accommodated in a slide (4) which can be moved in the housing (5) of the stamp.</p> |
