<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the assistance of a specialist by providing a knowledge data base means and an inference engine mea which retrieves the optimum knowledge data from said knowledge data base means and reports it to an inquiry and which has a function of checking knowledge data registered in said knowledge data base means. CONSTITUTION:On receiving an inquiry about a production line, an inference engine means 4 retrieves knowledge data suited to the contents of the inquiry from a knowledge data base means 1 in order and displays the data. Also, at the time of registering a knowledge data, the means 1 reads out already registered knowledge data and carries out data check. Thereby, even if trouble occurs while a production line is operating, a measure to meet the trouble can be taken even without a professional operator. Also, since data check is carried out at the time of registering a knowledge data, it is possible to perform a change registration or new registration while retrieving knowledge data, without interfering.</p> |
