PURPOSE:The titled superdrawn material having high flame retardance by a simple processing method at low cost without damaging properties of characteristic high strength, modulus in tension, etc., having the surface covered with a specific dried coating film containing vinylidene chloride copolymer resin latex. CONSTITUTION:A superdrawn material of polyoxymethylene is covered with a continuous coating film having 0.2-5.0g/g POM, preferably 0.35-3.0g/g POM made of vinylidene chloride copolymer resin latex having >=40 oxygen index of dried coating film and >=100 deg.C flow starting temperature of a compound of the latex and a metallic oxide and/or a metallic hydroxide. The dried coating film of the compound is formed by using a dried coating film having >=50wt% calculated as dried resin content of resin latex containing 60-95wt% vinylidene monomer unit. |
