PURPOSE:To accurately support a roll chock in a defined position by providing a fitting clearance which may not push said roll chock toward a fixed frame side, by means of fitting between a projection and a recessed part. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal projection 13 with a tapered section is formed on either of the front face of a pressing head 3 or the back side on the opposite site of a roll chock 2, and a mating tapered recessed part 14 is formed of the other. Thereby, when a roll 1 for installing the roll chock 2 is to be set in a required position of a machine base, as the pressing head 3 is operated under a condition that the relative right and left positions of the roll 1 is roughly determined, the tapered projection 13 and recessed part 14 are fitted to each other. And, the right and left of the roll chock 2 can be automatically positioned due to this fitting, enabing the roll chock to be accurately supported in a required defined position. |
