PURPOSE:To assemble and disassemble all the main components of a clutch assembly through a small number of steps, by mounting the clutch assembly at the side of an inner drum. CONSTITUTION:For disassembly, securing members 27 mounting an end plate 1b on a housing 1a are removed to take a clutch assembly 2 and a brake assembly 3 out of the housing. To thereafter disassemble the clutch assembly 2 securing members 28 mounting a spring holder 17 on a gauge 14 are removed to take all the main components of the clutch assembly off the gauge and an inner drum 9 for the clutch assembly. To disassemble the brake assembly 3, a securing member 20 mounting an outer drum 19 for the brake assembly on the end plate 1b is removed to take all the main components of the brake assembly off the inner drum 9. |
