发明名称 SELF-PROPELLING TYPE ELECTROMAGNETIC ULTRASONIC WAVE MEASURING APPARATUS
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a self-propelling type electromagnetic ultrasonic wave measuring apparatus having simple constitution, by providing a U-shaped magnet and an inverse exciting coil as attraction and detachment means while providing a receiving-transmitting coil to the leading ends of the legs of the U-shaped magnet. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 32 is bonded to the yoke 31 attracted to a furnace wall 6 as a magnetic flux supply means and an inverse exciting coil 33 negative the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 32 is provided to said yoke 31 as a deachement means. A receiving-transmitting coil 30 for an electromagnetic ultrasonic wave is mounted in one leg part of the yoke 31. When an attraction part is attracted to the furnace wall 6, the density of magnetic flux flowing through the yoke of the attraction part comes to a value sufficient to supply a pulse current to the receiving-transmitting coil 30 to generate an ultrasonic wave and, therefore, ultrasonic measurement becomes possible. As mentioned above, by mounting the receiving-transmitting coil incorporated in the magnet attraction part, the probe moving mechanism or catalyst tank required by a conventional measuring apparatus can be dispensed with.
