摘要 PURPOSE:To enable setting of an air-fuel ratio responding to ignitionability and combustibility of fuel, by a method wherein, in a device which performs feedback control in a way that an air-fuel ratio is adjusted to a value on the lean side during given running, with the increase in an intake air temperature, an air-fuel ratio is set to a value on the further leaner side. CONSTITUTION:Detecting values from an airflow sensor 18, a throttle sensor 28, a rotation sensor 29, an intake air temperature sensor 30, and an air-fuel ratio sensor 31, etc. are inputted to a controller 37, and feedback control is effected on an air-fuel ratio according to a running state. The controller 27 sets a target air-fuel ratio to a value on the further lean side than a theoretical air-fuel ratio in a low load low rotation running region during constant running, but in this case, with the increase in the temperature of intake air, a target air-fuel ratio is set to a value on the further leaner side.
