PURPOSE:To prevent increase in the coupling loss of an optical fiber, by forming an optical fiber guide member provided with optical fiber guide grooves in its upper surface, pressing member which presses optical fibers set to the guide grooves, and optical fibers in one body by resin forming. CONSTITUTION:By pressing an optical fiber B by means of an optical fiber guide member 1 and pressing member 2, occurrence of eccentricity caused by the clearance between the optical fiber B and an optical fiber guide hole, into which the optical fiber is inserted, is prevented. When the guide member 1 and pressing member 2 are collectively insert-formed together with the optical fiber B, bending of the optical fiber at its end face can also be prevented. Moreover, when a clearance (g) of >=40mum, at least, is provided between the guide member 1 and pressing member 2 and the clearance (g) is filled up with a resin, the optical fiber fixing force can be made stronger.
