PURPOSE:To easily obtain a molded item excellent in external appearance by a method wherein an electrically-conductive fabric onto one side or both sides of which a film or films are bonded and in which slits are provided at positions corresponding to the complicatedly shaped parts of the molded item is integrally molded on the surface of and/or within the plastic molded item. CONSTITUTION:By immersing a polyamide fabric to which electroless plating catalyst is given in an electroless plating bath a fabric with copper plating film of about 0.2mum in thickness is obtained. Next, an electrically-conductive material 2 is obtained by bonding a polyvinyl chloride film with a thickness of 60mum on the inside of the fabric with a hot press and providing slits 1 at positions corresponding to the corner parts of a molded item. Then, after the electrically-conductive material 2 is positioned onto the projected mold 3 of a molding tool, the molding tool is closed so as to feed ABS resin 5 in between the electrically-conductive material 2 and a recessed mold 4 for injection molding in order to obtain an electromagnetic wave shielding molded item 6. |
