PURPOSE:To obtain the photographic characteristics of a very high contrasty and a negative gradation having >10 of gamma value by processing the silver halide photographic sensitive material in the presence of a specific compd. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material is processed in the presence of the compd. shown by formula I. In formula I, Ar is aryl group, and concretely, phenyl group or naphthyl group which may be substd. The substituent is exemplified by alkyl group, aryl group, halogen atom or a combination thereof. The nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring residue shown by R is concretely exemplified by pyridyl, pyrazinyl, primidyl group, etc., which may be substd. or the combination thereof. The concrete example of the compd. shown by formula I is those shown by formula I-1. |
