PURPOSE:To obtain the color photograph which does not remain a harmful processing chemicals in the developed titled material, and is safety and has excellent shelf life by processing the titled material in a presence of a specific compd., using a specific color developer and a solvent whereby a stable color image is rapidly obtd., without washing the developed image. CONSTITUTION:In the processing method comprising 3 steps of color-developing, bleach-fixing and stabilizing treatments of the titled material composed substantially silver chlorobromide, the color developer contains 1.5X10<-2>mol of at least one kind of p-phenylene diamine type developing agent having an alkylsulfoneamidealkyl group binded to an aromatic ring or to an amino type nitrogen atom and has >=10.3 pH. The color developer comprises water and the solvent other than water which has <=0.003vol ratio of the solvent having >=logP 0.4 per the solvent having < logP 0.4. The titled material is processed at >=30 deg.C, and <=120sec in the presence of at least one kind of the compd. shown by formula I. |
