PURPOSE:To obtain the color photograph capable of giving rapidly a stable coloring matter image and having excellent shelf-life by processing the titled material in a presence of an one kind of a specific compd. using a specific color developer and a solvent. CONSTITUTION:In the processing method comprising 3 steps of color-developing, bleach-fixing and stabilizing treatments of the titled material composed substantially silver chlorobromide emulsion, the color developer contains 1.5X10<-2>mol of at least one kind of p-phenylene diamine type developing agent having an alkylsulfoneamidealkyl group binded to an aromatic ring or to an amino type nitrogen atom and has >=10.3 pH. The color developer comprises water and the solvent other than water which has <=0.003vol ratio of the solvent having >=logP 0.4 per the solvent having < logP 0.4. The titled material is processed at >30 deg.C, and <=120sec in the presence of at least one kind of the compd. shown by formulas I-IV wherein X2 and X3 are each sulfur atom or oxygen atom, X1 and X4 are each SH group or OH group. |
