An electrode consists of a rod made of mild steel and a coating, which comprises marble, fluorite, graphite, ferrochromium, ferromolybdenum, ferrovanadium, ferrotitanium, ferrosilicon, mica, cellulose and soda. The coating, besides the mentioned components, comprises as well ferromanganese and has the following composition (in per cent by mass): marble 18-25, fluorite 11-18, graphite 2.5-3, ferrochromium 12.5-15, ferromolybdenum 25-30, ferrovanadium 8-10, ferrotitanium 5-6, ferrosilicon 4.2-5, ferromanganese 0.7-1.2, mica 0.5-1.5, cellulose 0.5-1.5, soda 0.4-0.6. |
