PURPOSE:To obtain the flat attraction force characteristic by forming a tapered surface onto the outer periphery at one edge of a spool, in the common working for the inner surfaces of a valve sleeve, spacer ring, and a yoke. CONSTITUTION:A valve sleeve 11, supporting sleeve 12, spacer ring 13, end sleeve 14, and a yoke 25 are integrally jointed, and the inside hole 10a of a valve body 10 into which a spool 30 is inserted is flush-worked through the common work. A tapered surface 35 which narrows towards the top edge is formed onto the outer periphery at one edge on the side opposed to the yoke 25 of the spool 30. Therefore, the air gap from the spool 30 at the top edge of the yoke 25 is varied with the displacement of the spool 30. The air gap reduces with the displacement of the spool 30 by the increase of the electric current value applied onto a solenoid 17, and the degree of reduction of the attraction force reduces.
