PURPOSE:To increase the number of subroutines without increasing memory capacity and to efficiently perform a sequence process at a high speed by storing only subroutines which are used by a sequence program in an NC device. CONSTITUTION:A system program is loaded in the RAM of a main device body 11a and the sequence program SC and various corresponding tables are inputted on a keyboard 11b and converted into a machine language. Then, a subroutine which is used by the sequence program is called in a subroutine library SBRL and stored in the RAM of the main body 11a. Then when the sequence program ends, the subroutine, the generated sequence program, etc., are written in a ROM cassette RC through a ROM writer 11e. Then, the RC is loaded on the NC device 12 to perform numerical control based on the NC program and sequence program.
