PURPOSE:To enable a discharge resistance to be easily replaced by setting the discharge resistance together with a rectifier fitted on a rotary shaft exposed outside a bearing. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 6 is combined with a field coil 1, a rotor core 7, the rotor coil 3 of an exciter, and the rotor core 8 of the exciter. Besides, the rotary shaft 6 is combined with a rectifier 5 provided with a discharge resistance 2 at the end section, and a rotor is composed of these ones. The power source of the rotor coil 3 of the exciter is conducted to the rectifier 5, and after the power source is rectified, it is conducted to the field coil 1 of a synchronous generator.
