PURPOSE:To avoid dirt and flaw of a read face at the bonding process by providing a protecting layer on the read face of two bases, applying an adhesives on recording layer of the base and adhering the bases through depression. CONSTITUTION:Protection films 6, 7 are provided respectively to a face opposite to layers 2, 4 of the transparent bases 1, 5 formed respectively with the recording layers 2, 4 on one face. Then the bases 1, 5 are held by a holder 9 and immersed in the adhesives 8 in an adhesive tank 15. Arms 16, 17 of the holder 9 are turned to depress the bases 1, 5 to overlap the layers 2, 4 and they are extracted from the tank 15 in this state. After the adhesive layer 3 is cured between the layers 2, 4 by radiating an ultraviolet ray, the films 6, 7 are eliminated. Moreover, the bases 1, 5 applies with the adhesives 8 are pressed and adhered in air. Adhesion of dust or flaw onto the medium surface is prevented by the method above.
