PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain an excellent temperature even at the central part of a wide room by dividing air which has passed from a blower through a heat exchanger and turned into a cool air flow or a hot air flow into a detour blow-off flowpath air and a straight blow-off flowpath air thereby to blow off air from opposite corners into a room. CONSTITUTION:When the air conditioner is operated, indoor air flows thereinto through suction ports 19 provided on both sides with an opening and closing panel 24 as a center, and is collected at a suction flowpath 27 of a chamber unit 25 and advances toward a blower 14, a low-temperature air flow which has passed through a heat exchanger 15 flowing toward the downward. In this case, air which has flowed on the approximately half side of the heat exchanger 15 flows downward in the vertical direction along a straight blow-off flow path 28 and further is blown off into the room through a blow-off port 22 of an ornamental panel 17. On the other hand, air which has flowed on the remaining approximately half side of the heat exchanger 15 flows through a detour blow off port 29 in an L-shape, and further blows downward and is blown off into the room through the blow-off port 22a of the ornamental panel 17. Thus, air which has passed through the heat exchanger 15 is blown off dispersedly at a longest positional interval within the frame 18 of the ornamental panel 17, and hence the temperature distribution becomes excellent. |
