An artificial hair for implantation comprising a loop part and a hair root part. The hair root part and the hooked part twine around each other at the foot of the loop part in an S shape. The hair root part is bonded to the loop part by fusion bonding where both filaments intersect. The artificial hair is prepared by forming a loop by winding a synthetic resin monofilament around a bar shaped jig, forming a bonded part by twining an end of the monofilament for forming a hooked part around the end of the monofilament for forming a hair shaft part and twisting the configuration once to form an S shape at the foot at the loop, and fushion bonding the monofilament for the hooked part to the monofilament for the shaft part only at a region between two points where both filaments intersect each other. |
