The invention relates to a sales cabinet for bread, consisting of four side walls (1, 2, 3, 4), top (5) and bottom (6), shelves (7) extending from the rear wall (3) up to the front wall (1) being arranged between the side walls (2, 4), and the space between the top (5) and the top shelf (7), and also between each two shelves (7), being closeable by a flap (8). It is the object of the present invention to design a sales cabinet for bread and similar products, in such a way that the purchasing public can only touch the product when the decision to purchase has been made, and furthermore the purchasers' breath and any coughed-out or sneezed-out drops of liquid cannot reach the product. The object is achieved by the shelves (7) being inclined from the rear wall (3) up to the front wall (1). <IMAGE>
