PURPOSE:To obtain a simple transfer sheet which can easily be manufactured and used, by forming a pattern formed in an ink holding layer by permeating ink from an ink transportation side. CONSTITUTION:A transfer sheet paper 10 is basically composed of a separation sheet 1, an ink holding layer 2 for formation of a pattern 3 provided on one side of the separation sheet 1, and an ink transportation layer 4 formed on the surface of the ink holding layer 2. The pattern 3 is formed by causing ink to permeate from an ink transportation layer 4 side through the ink transportation layer 4. The transfer method is such that the separation sheet 1 is separated from the transfer sheet paper 10 with a pattern formed, and the ink holding layer 2 having the pattern 3 is adhered to a material to be transferred 6 opposed to each other. Thus the pattern 3 desired is transferred onto a material 6 to be transferred together with the ink transportation layer 4. In this case, if the ink holding layer 2 is formed with a thermoplastic polymer, said layer can be adhered by heating to an adequate temperatures. In addition, ordinary adhesives may be used in that case. |
