PURPOSE:To raise sharpness, to improve contrast, and to obtain an image which is excellent in its visibility, discriminating property and has a good reproducibility, by forming an image so that a space frequency of a green light or a red light can be improved, in order to form an original image onto a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:In a color image forming device provided with a photosensitive body 4 having a conductive layer, a photoconductive layer, and a filter layer having a color separating function of blue, green and red in the surface, and an exposure light source 18 having each specific spectrum of blue, green and red for irradiating an original, MTF is set to the highest against a green light or a red light in order to form an original image onto the photosensitive body 4. For instance, the surface of the photosensitive body 4 is electrified to a uniform potential by an electrifier 5, and to its electrified surface, an image exposure is executed by a reflected light of an original, which has been radiated by the image exposure light source 18 (a light source consisting of three kinds of fluorescent lamps of blue, green, and red) of an image exposing device 6, and by an operation of an electrifier 16 for executing an AC discharge or a DC corona discharge of a code opposite to the electrifier 5, the surface potential of the photosensitive body 4 becomes roughly uniform.
