PURPOSE:To make it possible to automate the deburring process of a workpiece having a rotating body shape and made of rein without damaging the workpiece, by holding the workpiece between a support wall and a running belt and by making its edge in rolling contact with a grinder. CONSTITUTION:A rotating body shape workpiece A is fed from a loader 14 into between the rubber support surface 1a of a support wall 1 and a timing belt 5 which is wound around a drive pulley 6, a driven pulley 7 and a tension pulley 8 and which runs on a back-up member 16. Then, a small diameter barrel section of the workpiece A is held between the belt 5 and the support surface 1a and is rotated while it makes into sliding contact with the grinding surface 2a of the grinder 2 to grind burrs successively, and is then delivered onto a discharge chute 15. Thus, it is possible to automate the grinding process, and further it is possible to prevent the workpiece from being damaged since the grinder makes into contact with a desired burring section alone.
