PURPOSE:To eliminate the effect of a definite capacitance in existence in a detection diode by providing a base mounted with a diode in series with a waveguide to a dielectric base circuit provided in a millimeter waveguide. CONSTITUTION:A fin line circuit 100 formed on the dielectric base 114 is provided in a waveguide, and the detection means 124 is provided in series with the fin line between metallized layers 18 and 118 of the fin line channel 101 prolonged between inner walls 16A and 16B. The metallized layers 18, 19 and 118 are provided on a front face 21 of the base 114, the layers 18, 19 specify the input taper 120 of the surface pattern and the layers 118, 119 form an output taper 122. Further, the layers 18, 118 are separated by a fin line trace 200 sectioned by dielectric channels 201, 202 and the trace 200 is arranged at a right angle to the channel 101 in crossing with the waveguide to carry a signal to the circuit at the outside of the waveguide from the detection means 124 to a terminal 60 and through the inner wall 16A.
