PURPOSE:To improve the frame throughput and to reduce the transmission time by providing plural pointers indicating a storage area connected with a frame and controlling each pointer. CONSTITUTION:The 1st pointer 1 indicates a storage area 41 connected with a sent frame and the 2nd pointer 2 indicates the storage area 41 connected with a frame during transmission and the 3rd pointer 3 indicates a storage area connected with a frame awaiting the confirmation of transmission. Then a controller 5 applies prescribed processing corresponding to each frame connected to each storage area 41 indicated by the pointers 1-3 respectively. Every time each processing is finished, the controller 5 applies update control to the pointer corresponding to the finished processing thereby allowing the pointer to indicate the next storage area. Thus, the frame throughput is improved and the transmission time is reduced.
