PURPOSE:To make thinner the whole of a device by forming a base with an insulating material and loading electronic parts to the rear surface of the base directly. CONSTITUTION:A storing box body 21 to store a disk part and a head part is composed of a base 22 consisting of the insulating material and a cover 23 fitted to the base 22. On the surface of the base 22, a printed circuit is formed, and at the lower surface of the base 22 and a printed board 25, many electronic parts 13 are mounted. Thus, by mounting actually the parts 13 with the base 22, the printed board can be eliminated and only for that part, the height of the magnetic disk device is reduced. When the height of the device is equal, the number of a magnetic disk 7 can be increased and the memory capacity can be increased.
