PURPOSE:To hold a clear image by separating and removing toner grains in a color-mixed developing solution/clear solution by magnetic force at the time of color changing. CONSTITUTION:The toner grains in the color-mixed developing solution/clear solution are separated and removed by magnetic force at the time of color changing. An electromagnet or a permanent magnet 13 is arranged in a clear solution clearing device arranged between a developing tank 6 and a clear solution tank 5 in a clear solution circulation system to remove magnetic toner 14 in the clear solution and return the cleaned clear solution to a clear tank 5. Consequently, color mixing due to respective toner components is suppressed and a clear color image can be obtained.
