The ejectable fin has a root (3) shaped to fit into a recess in the board and separate from it in the event of a shock to prevent damage. The root of the fin has projections at both ends, one engaging with a notch (5) in the board recess, and the other engaging with an elastic pusher (4) contained in the opposite end of the recess. The fin is attached by a flexible line (6) to the inside of the recess so that it does not get lost on separation. When the fin strikes a solid object it is pushed back against the elastic pusher (4), becoming detached from the notch and is then ejected from the board recess. USE/ADVANTAGE - Easier fitting and less damage on collision. For a surfboard or sailboard.
