PURPOSE:To continuously execute a measurement extending from a stop of a revolving shaft to a high speed rotation, by superposing a part of the respective slits to the revolving shaft, and also, placing two pieces of slits at an interval, and providing a light emitting element and a light receiving element on both its sides. CONSTITUTION:In case of a state that a revolving shaft 1 has no-load, an emitted light beam from a light emitting element 23 is received by a light receiving element 25 by a light quantity corresponding to an area in which a slit 26 of the first slit plate 9 and a slit 27 of the second slit plate 14 are superposed, and inputted to a comparator through an amplifier, but since a reference voltage value is set equally in advance, its output, namely, the torque becomes zero. When a load is applied to the revolving shaft 1 and a torsional torque is generated between a pin 7 and a pin 13, a shift being equal to its angle torsion theta is generated between the first slit plate 9 and the second slit plate 14. By following it, a superposed area, namely, the light receiving amount of a light receiving element 35 is varied. |
