PURPOSE:To provide a composition capable of forming molded articles with significantly good appearance without impairing heat resistance, comprising as component, a maleimide copolymer, with the residual content of unreacted monomer reduced to a level below a specified value. CONSTITUTION:The object composition with the content of residual unreacted monomer totalling <=3,000ppm (pref. <=1,000ppm) and water content <=2,000ppm, comprising (A) 5-95pts.wt of a copolymer made up of (i) 3-70wt% of a maleimide monomer unit and (ii) 97-30wt% of an aromatic vinyl monomer unit and/or unsaturated carboxylic acid (ester) monomer unit, (B) 95-5pts.wt. of a graft polymer made up of (iii) a rubbery polymer and (iv) maleimide monomer unit, aromatic vinyl monomer unit. unsaturated nitrile monomer unit, and/or unsaturated carboxylic acid (ester) monomer unit (where A+B totalling 100pts. wt.), and (C) 0-500pts.wt. of another copolymer made up of aromatic vinyl monomer unit, unsaturated nitrile monomer unit, and/or unsaturated carboxylic acid (ester) monomer unit.
