PURPOSE:To enable accurate inspection of burr, by a method wherein a pin having a reflecting surface with the tip thereof mirror-finished is supported with a freely tiltable base and the large-diameter side of a crossing hole is inserted into the pin to inspect the hole with a tool scope having a light source from the small-diameter side thereof. CONSTITUTION:A support section 24 for supporting a pin 34 is mounted on a base 22, which is mounted tiltably through a strut 28 of a base support pedestal 26 and a bracket 30. The pin 34 has an outer diameter large enough to get a shaft section 26 fitted loosely into the large-diameter side 18 of work 14 and a half-split face of the tip of the shaft section 36 from a mirror-finished reflecting face 38. A tool scope 44 is provided with a lighting source 48 in the perimeter of an objective lens 46. The work 14 is set on the shaft section 36 of the pin 34, the small diameter side 19 thereof is placed within a view of the scope 44 and a crossing hole 16 is inspected in magnification being lighted by the light source 48. This also allows the inspection of the back of the crossing hole 16 projected on the reflecting surface 38 of the pin 34. Thus, the inspection of burr can be achieved accurately for the crossing hole 16. |
