EXAMPLE:Polymer of 1,6-diacetylamino-2,4-hexadiyne. USE:A synthetic intermediate for novel types of polydiacetylene or high-degree functional material. In order to impart sufficient moldability and strength, >=50 polymerization degree is preferred and the above-mentioned compound is used as an organic electrically conductive material or electronic material, e.g. elements of high mobility, etc., based on a pi-electron conjugated system of the backbone chain, a source of highly functional material, e.g. nonlinear optical materials, etc. PREPARATION:For example, a compound expressed by the formula is used as a raw material monomer and polymerized by a photopolymerization method using a medium-pressure mercury lamp to afford the polydiacetylene of the polymerized compound expressed by the formula.
