PURPOSE:To prevent clogging of a supply air filter with snow and secure soundness of the facilities by forming a snow trap between an outdoor air inlet and the filter. CONSTITUTION:The outside air that intruded into bentilation facilities for air conditioning through a louver 27 passes through a snow trap 28, supply air filter 29, heating coil 31, and cooling coil 33 continuously and reaches a supply air duct 35. The outside air is then led to an air conditioning space 39 by a supply air fan 37. In this space the distance of the snow trap in the direction of the outside air flow is set above the value obtained by the height of the snow trap inlet section multiplied by the outside air flow speed in the snow trap. Further, the cross-sectional area A of the inlet section of the snow trap 28 is set to as to make the outside air flow rate (v) in the snow trap 18 is slow at about 1 meter per second. Furthermore, at the inlet section of the snow trap 28 a flow-straightening plate 51 is provided all over the area A, and by this plate the outside air which flows through the snow trap 28 becomes laminar. |
