发明名称 MULTI-COLOR THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance color-separation properties and to prevent mixing of color, by using an aromatic compound having at least two substituents shown by either of two specific structural formulas as a decoloring agent. CONSTITUTION:On a substrate, a plurality of thermal color-forming layers forming color of different tones are provided. In at least one of the aforesaid layers, an aromatic compound having two or more substituents shown by formula I or II and 70 deg.C or over melting point is contained. As a compound having the substituents shown by formula I, for example, bisbenzylidene-p- phenylenediamine, bysbenzylidene-m-phenylenediamine, and bis(p- methoxybenzylidene)-p-phenylenediamine can be used. As a compound having the substituents shown by formula II, for instance, terephthal bisaniline, terephthal bis(cyclohexylamine), and terephthal bis(p-anisidine) can be used. In this manner, a multi-color thermal recording material can sharply form a plurality of tones without mixing the colors and impart a multi-color image superior in color-separation properties.
