PURPOSE:To enable efficient cleaning of wells for assay in various automatic floor inspectors, by performing a suction at multi-stage positions lifting the position of the tip point of a dispenser gradually. CONSTITUTION:When a liquid 3 in wells 2 of a flat bottom type tray is sucked with a dispenser 1 mobile vertically, the position of the bottom surface of the well differs and there is a slight deviation in the size of the tip 4. Because of this, when the dispenser 1 is lowered to such an extent that the point of the tip 4 gets in contact with the bottom surface of a well 2, the point of the tip 4 is sometimes closed by the well 2 or the dispenser 1 involved to stop the suction of the liquid. So, the position of the point of the tip 4 of the dispenser 1 is lifted gradually as shown by C to make a suction at multistage positions while creating a clearance between the bottom of the well 2 and the point of the tip 4. This eliminates the need for keeping a large clearance between the bottom of the well and the point of the tip from the beginning, thereby always enabling the suction at the optimum condition. |
