PURPOSE:To attain white balance adjustment and the input to a transmission lighting original and a stereoscopic object with remarkable shade by using different color to front and rear sides of an original platen and using the faces while making upside down. CONSTITUTION:The original platen 4 is formed horizontally symmetrically with respect to a reference line 4b as a center line, a couple of symmetric projections 4a are formed to one side line to attain positioning to the support and the front side/rear side 4W, 4d of the original platen 4 are colored in different colors (white and black colors) and both sides are used by making upside down. In adjusting the white balance, or in using a transparent lighting original for a device such as an overhead projector, the front side 4W is used. On the other hand, in picking up an object having a remarkable shade by a lighting apparatus such as a stereoscopic object, the rear side 4d is used as the front side.
